Injury: Ankle

Injury Status: Expected Return – Week 13

Updated: Dec. 2

UPDATE 4: Mike Williams (ankle) did not practice on Thursday, but he was seen working with Chargers Director of Sports Performance Anthony Lomando off to the side.

UPDATE 3: Williams (ankle) will miss the Cardinals game on Sunday.

UPDATE 2: Williams (ankle) is expected to handle a normal workload in Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

UPDATE: Williams (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs after a full practice Friday.

Williams joined Allen in the Chargers’ walkthrough on Friday after practicing in a limited capacity on Thursday, according to Popper.

Williams (ankle) resumed limited practice on Wednesday and could return to game action this Sunday night.

After two consecutive limited sessions to end the week, Williams will almost certainly be labeled “questionable.”

The fact that he was on the practice field, on the other hand, should give fantasy owners hope for a possible Week 11 return.

The return of Williams to the Chargers offense would be a much-needed boost for an offense that lacks a big-play threat.

In Week 2 against the Chiefs, Williams had his best game of the season, catching eight passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.
