Injury: Ankle

Injury status: Limited Practice on Friday. Questionable for Week 11 at Buffalo

Updated: Nov. 19

UPDATE 4: Allen (right elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Detroit against the Browns.

UPDATE 3: Following the NFL’s announcement on Thursday that the game had been moved from Buffalo due to the major snowstorm expected to hit Western New York this weekend, Allen and the Bills will now face the Browns at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Ford Field in Detroit.

UPDATE 2: Although Allen and the Bills struggled in Sunday’s overtime loss to the Vikings, coach Sean McDermott and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey said Monday that the quarterback didn’t have any throws he couldn’t make because of his elbow sprain, according to Alec White of the Bills’ official site.

UPDATE: Allen was a limited participant in Friday’s practice, according to Mike Giardi, and is considered “hour-to-hour” by Bills head coach Sean McDermott.

Allen (elbow) was not seen participating in the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg.

While Allen’s elbow injury is manageable, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that the MVP candidate may be held out of Sunday’s game as a precaution.

Based on how the betting market has reacted to the reports, Case Keenum may start against one of his former teams, lowering the Bills from -8.5 to -3.5.

Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis’ fantasy stocks are likely to suffer as a result, though Diggs should still be in fantasy lineups across the board.

The defense of Minnesota, on the other hand, would be fascinating to watch.
