On Friday, the Pacers will face the Cavaliers in Cleveland, Ohio. These two teams haven’t met yet this season, but both are coming off wins.
Update on Donovan Mitchell and Dylan Windler’ injury status
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Dallas Mavericks 105-90 last night. In that game, they were outstanding on defense, holding the Mavericks to 39.2% shooting from the field. They will have to replicate that performance if they want to take care of business at home.
Dean Wade (Shoulder), Dylan Windler (Ankle), and Ricky Rubio (Knee) are all on the injured list.
Donovan Mitchell will suit up against the Pacers in the upcoming game.
In 38 minutes against Dallas on Wednesday, Donovan Mitchell had 34 points (13-20 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists, and one steal.
Mitchell made six of nine three-point attempts in only his second game back from a two-game absence due to lower leg soreness. This season, he has increased his 3-point percentage to a career-high 42.9 percent, ranking fifth in the league with 97 total triples. Mitchell currently has a 50.2 percent overall field-goal percentage and ranks eighth in the NBA with 29.2 points per game.

Kendall Brown (Leg) and Chris Duarte (Ankle) have both been ruled out for this game. Daniel Theis PF (knee) has been ruled out for the foreseeable future.
