The Bills injuries

  • DT Jordan Phillips (shoulder) – Questionable
  • WR Isaiah McKenzie (hamstring) – Questionable

There were five Bills players who did not participate in Friday’s practice but only two who were listed as questionable.

One of them was former Dolphins defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, who has been nursing a shoulder injury. Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie was the other, and he tore his hamstring.

Stefon Diggs and Taiwan Jones, both wide receivers, took Friday off to rest and recover from their injuries. Illness kept QB Case Keenum from practicing.

DB In Friday’s practice, Jordan Poyer took part in every aspect of the session. He was a DNP for the first two days of this week and could do minimal tasks.

The Miami Dolphins’ final injury report before their playoff game in Buffalo was not encouraging, but it wasn’t unexpected either. The good news didn’t end there, either.

The best news, however, was that tackles Terron Armstead and Kendall Lamm were able to return to practice, albeit briefly. Armstead (toe, pec, knee, and hip) and Lamm (ankle) were both listed as questionable in the final injury report.

Only offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg was listed as being anything other than questionable. Because of the injury, he didn’t get any reps in all week.

Two players were officially declared out for the Dolphins on Friday. On Sunday, Alabama will face Buffalo without running back Raheem Mostert (thumb) and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion). La’Mical Perine, the backup running back, will almost certainly be promoted from the practice squad on Saturday with Mostert out.

Tackle Brandon Shell, who hurt his knee and ankle, was the only other Dolphins player who did not participate in Friday’s practice. As of game time, Shell’s status was listed as doubtful.

All four defensive backs, as well as wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (hip and groin) and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee and right finger), were listed as questionable. On Friday, Wilson was the only player who could do all of the drills without any restrictions.

All of this week’s other six players who weren’t on veteran’s rest have been given the all-clear and not given a game status: Kader Kohou at cornerback, Greg Little at offensive tackle, Jaelan Phillips at linebacker, Skyler Thompson at quarterback, Jaylen Waddle at wideout, and Jeff Wilson Jr. at running back.

Also of note is that this was the first week since the Green Bay game that CB Xavien Howard was not listed as being injured.
