Coming into this game, the Clippers have just finished off the Houston Rockets, 121-100. In the second half, they tightened up defensively, knowing that they would need to play similarly well again if they were to challenge the Jazz on the road.
Paul George played in last night’s game against the 76ers. He could be available again in this game. The Clippers star will play again after sitting out the previous five games with right hamstring tightness. Nicolas Batum will likely be demoted to the bench as a result of his return.
Injury reports: Moussa Diabate (Illness), Luke Kennard (Calf) and John Wall (Abdomen).
Last time out, the Utah Jazz prevailed 126-125 over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Jazz won in a thrilling finish, despite shooting only 53.6% from the field. If they want to get things done around the house, they’ll need to keep things hot.
Injury reports: Kelly Olynyk (Ankle) and Lauri Markkanen (Hip).
According to Head Coach Will Hardy, Olynyk (ankle) will be out for at least one more week.
Olynyk sprained his left ankle, and the injury has been labeled as more than just a nuisance. His injury will keep him out for at least three games, and the Jazz’s medical staff will likely keep an eye on him from there to determine when he can return.
