The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 115-109 last night. Oklahoma City had a strong offensive showing, shooting 42.2% from three-point range. They’ll have to stay hot if they want to beat the Trail Blazers at home.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (back) will miss the game against Portland on Monday.
Due to a back contusion, Gilgeous-Alexander will miss his second straight game. Josh Giddey (illness) is also out, so Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe should be able to stay in the starting lineup for at least one more game.
Darius Bazley (illness) will miss Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Bazley will miss his third straight game, with his next opportunity coming against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Aleksej Pokusevski, Jalen Williams, and Mike Muscala could all see slightly increased roles in his absence.

The Portland Trail Blazers are coming off a 107-95 win over the Houston Rockets. They looked great on both ends of the floor, and if they want to challenge the Thunder on the road, they’ll have to keep this one going.
Due to a left ankle sprain, Josh Hart is listed as probable for Monday’s game against the Thunder.
Hart has been getting his usual workload in recent games, and the probable tag suggests that he should be able to play on Monday. Hart is averaging 9.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in December.
Jusuf Nurkic has been listed as probable for Monday’s game against the Thunder due to right calf soreness.
Nurkic had 14 points (6-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, and one block in 27 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday, and the probable tag means the big man shouldn’t have any trouble suiting up for Monday’s game. Nurkic is averaging 15.3 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game in December.
Meanwhile, Jerami Grant (back) has been listed as questionable.
