The Boston Celtics will play host to the NBA Finals rematch between they and Warriors from the year 2022.
Klay Thompson READY, Jaylen Brown QUESTIONABLE for Warriors vs. Celtics game
The Warriors have a much better record at home (29-8) than on the road (5-17). The Dubs have won two of their last three games away from home and are hoping that this is evidence that their road woes are behind them.
Injury reports: Andre Iguodala (Hip), James Wiseman (Ankle), Jonathan Kuminga (Foot) and JaMychal Green (Lower Leg).
It has been reported by Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com that Klay Thompson (knee) will play on Thursday against the Celtics.
On Monday, against the Wizards, Golden State opted to sit Thompson in favor of more active players. Over the course of his last eight games, he has averaged 29.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 35.9 minutes per contest, and he has scored 20 or more points seven times.
When compared to the Warriors’ campaign, the defending Eastern champion Celtics’ regular season has been relatively smooth. The Celtics have a 17-5 record at home this season, making them the best team in the NBA. To the surprise of no one, Boston has an ATS record of 25-19-1. In their last seven games, the Celtics have been victorious each time.
Injury reports: Jaylen Brown (Groin) and Danilo Gallinari (Knee).
Due to a groin injury, it is unclear whether or not Jaylen Brown will play on Thursday against the Warriors.
After missing the previous three games with right adductor tightness, Brown returned to full practice on Wednesday but is still questionable for Thursday’s game. He’s making good progress in his recovery and ought to be back at work in a week or so.
