Thompson sat out the second half of a back-to-back set against the Pelicans on Friday, but he’ll return to the court on Monday.
Thompson may not play both ends of back-to-back sets for the rest of the season, and the Warriors still have two back-to-back sets left in November.
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson remain one of the best 3-point shooting tandems in NBA history, and Curry is off to a fast start this season. He’s averaging 30 points per game and shooting just under 40% from beyond the arc.
Thompson’s deep-ball percentage is 29.5%, but it should improve as the season progresses.
The Warriors haven’t had the best start to the season, but it’s a matter of when, not if, they get back on track.
