The Los Angeles Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies play each other again on Friday night.
LA moved up to fifth place in the Western Conference after their win on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies is now three and a half games behind first-place Denver and only two games ahead of third-place Sacramento. At 8:00 PM EST, the rematch will begin.
Kawhi Leonard – Questionable, Ja Morant – Ready for Friday’ game

The Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers are trying to secure a first-round home-court advantage in the Western Conference playoffs against the Phoenix Suns.
The task has been made more challenging for LA thanks to the recent knee injury suffered by star Paul George that will likely keep him out for the rest of the regular season.
On Wednesday night, the Clippers won a game they needed badly by defeating the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 141 to 132. This victory is even more remarkable given that Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers’ other star player, was not able to play due to personal reasons.
Los Angeles Times reporter Andrew Greif reports that Leonard’s status for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies is in doubt due to a personal matter.
Leonard was absent from the matchup with the Grizzlies on Wednesday due to personal reasons, and his availability for Friday remains unclear. LA are likely to start Terance Mann again if he is once again sidelined.

The Memphis Grizzlies
With only six games left in the season, the Grizzlies’ hopes of winning the Western Conference are dwindling (they are currently four games behind Denver). However, the Grizzlies still need to finish strongly to avoid being overtaken by the Sacramento Kings for second place.
On Wednesday night, despite Ja Morant’s 36 points, the Memphis Grizzlies lost to the Los Angeles Clippers, ending their seven-game winning streak.
The Grizzlies did play despite missing key players like Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, Tyus Jones, and John Konchar due to illness or exhaustion.
With a weak supporting cast, Morant attempted more shots than in his prior three games combined.
The Memphis point guard has increased his scoring average each game since returning from a nine-game suspension earlier this month.
