Week 13 Fantasy Injury Report: Joe Mixon, Leonard Fournette, Benny Snell and PJ Walker.

The NFL season enters Week 13 with as many key players injured as ever. Let’s take a look at the injuries suffered by Benny Snell, PJ Walker, Joe Mixon and Leonard Fournette and how serious they are.

Fantasy Injury Update: Joe Mixon, Benny Snell, Leonard Fournette and PJ Walker for Week 13

Fantasy Injury Update: Joe Mixon

Update 3: Mixon (concussion) took part in a limited practice on Thursday.

Update 2: Coach Zac Taylor stated on Friday that Mixon (concussion) will not play against the Titans on Sunday, according to Geoff Hobson of the Bengals’ official website.

Update: Mixon suffered a concussion against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week and did not return.

After scoring five touchdowns in his previous game, Mixon didn’t do much before leaving.

Even so, his availability in Week 12 against a hot Tennessee Titans team must be a source of concern. Mixon will have to go through the NFL concussion protocol in order to play. More information will be provided as practices continue this week.

If Mixon is unable to play, Samaje Perine will get the majority of the carries against the Titans’ elite run defense.

  • Benny Snell

Snell played in full for the Steelers on Friday and was not listed as injured.

It’s worth noting that Snell was listed on the Steelers’ injury report on Thursday as out with a knee injury. With Harris seemingly on track to miss Week 13, Snell was expected to be Warren’s primary foil.

If Snell is also out, Anthony McFarland could fill in for Warren this week.

  • Leonard Fournette

Update 1: Fournette (hip) participated in full practice on Thursday.

Update: Fournette (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Browns, according to Scott Smith of the Buccaneers’ official website.

The severity of Fournette’s hip injury will be revealed when the Bucs return to practice on Wednesday, but with the bye week in Week 11, Fournette’s status is uncertain.

A medical professional, Deepak Chona, says that depending on the type of hip injury, players are usually out for no more than one week.

Fournette was a limited participant today, according to the Buccaneers’ most recent practice report. According to all reports, Fournette is expected to play in Week 12, but his continued practice participation should be monitored.

  • PJ Walker

Update 2: Walker (ankle) will be out of the game against Denver on Sunday.

Update: Sam Darnold has been named the Panthers’ Week 12 starting quarterback.

We don’t know what path the Panthers will take at quarterback, but we’ll find out more about Walker’s status during Wednesday’s practice, according to head coach Steve Wilks.

At that point, we’ll know how Walker’s week off has helped his ankle.
