Fantasy Injury Update: Kyle Pitts, Daniel Bellinger, Ja’Marr Chase and Romeo Doubs for Week 12

With each new week of games comes a new set of injuries to monitor. After a short week of practice, those teams have released their final injury reports and game statuses for Week 12. Each of those reports, as well as a breakdown of some of the most serious injuries, can be found below.

Injury Status of Kyle Pitts, Daniel Bellinger, Ja’Marr Chase and Romeo Doubs

Injury Status of Kyle Pitts

  • Kyle Pitts (Knee)

Kyle Pitts has a torn MCL that requires surgery, which is a difficult injury for a young, promising player.

The Falcons have placed him on injured reserve, and he will miss at least four games as a result.

Pitts has had a very disappointing fantasy season, but with Atlanta still in the divisional race, we may see Pitts again by the end of the year.

  • Daniel Bellinger (Eye)

UPDATE: Daniel Bellinger has been declared ineligible for the Giants’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Because the Giants play on Thanksgiving, they released a projected injury report on Monday, and Bellinger was listed as a DNP.

Bellinger is recovering from a major eye injury, and while it was reported that he could return by Week 12, that doesn’t appear to be the case unless something drastic happens on Tuesday and Wednesday.

UPDATE 2: Chase (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Titans, according to Geoff Hobson of the Bengals’ official website.

UPDATE: Chase returned to practice on Wednesday and is expected to suit up for the Bengals against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.

Chase will be back at practice for the Bengals this week, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, after removing his crutches this weekend.

Chase hasn’t been seen on the field since Week 7, and this is right in the middle of the timeline for a return that was previously reported. Chase could be on the field in Week 12 if he has a good week of practice.

  • Romeo Doubs (Ankle)

UPDATE: Doubs (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

Doubs suffered a high-ankle sprain against the Detroit Lions in Week 9 and has missed the Packers’ last two games.

Unfortunately, he appears unlikely to play in Week 12 against the NFC’s best team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Doubs, a fourth-round draft pick out of Nevada in April, has 31 receptions for 314 yards and three touchdowns in nine games this season.
