The Washington Commanders will need to do it with a new quarterback at the helm if they want to keep winning. The Packers will be missing veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) and youngster Christian Watson (hamstring) on Sunday.
Packers vs Commanders injury update: 8 players left out of the starting lineup
- Commanders
The Washington Commanders ruled out five players for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers in their last injury report of the week, which was revealed on Friday.
Thomas has been absent for three straight games. While the team decides whether or not to put Wentz on injured reserve, he is out. Jackson is still sidelined with a back issue, but it seems more like the Commanders are trying to prevent him from getting hurt worse so they can move him. Brown shone against Tennessee two weeks ago, but ever then, he’s been dealing with groin pain.
Jahan Dotson, a rookie wide receiver, is questionable. That’s encouraging given that he injured his hamstring on Wednesday. Sam Cosmi, the right tackle, is also doubtful. Both players would be welcome back for the Commanders’ game versus Green Bay.
The Packers will be missing veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) and youngster Christian Watson (hamstring) on Sunday.
Both left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) and quarterback Aaron Rodgers (right thumb) will play.

- Packers
For Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders, the Packers have ruled out receivers Christian Watson (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (ankle), as well as center/guard Jake Hanson (biceps).
Since suffering a hamstring injury against the New York Giants in London, Watson will miss two games in a row. Cobb missed this week’s practices due to an ankle injury sustained against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Additionally, the Commanders classified three players as questionable: first-round receiver Jahan Dotson (hamstring), lineman Sam Cosmi (finger), and tight end John Bates (hamstring), who has missed two games. Safety Percy Butler (quadriceps) is anticipated to be available despite not having received a game-status designation.
