30. Houston Rockets (LW: 30)

Let’s get to it.

1. Milwaukee Bucks (LW: 1)

For a long time, the Milwaukee Bucks were the NBA’s last unbeaten team.

2. Boston Celtics (LW: 8)

The Celtics are off to another strong start this season, even without suspended head coach Ime Udoka.

3. Memphis Grizzlies (LW: 3)

Ja Morant has developed into one of the league’s best players. What will make them true Western Conference contenders is if enough of the pieces around him can raise their games to the next level.

4. Utah Jazz (LW: 9)

The rebuilding Utah Jazz have been the season’s biggest surprise. They have a shocking 10-3 record thanks to outstanding performances from Lauri Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson.

5. Portland Trail Blazers (LW: 5)

Damian Lillard has been a monster to start the NBA season after returning from a season-ending injury, leading the Portland Trail Blazers to a 9-3 start.

6. Cleveland Cavaliers (LW: 2)

The Cleveland Cavaliers are the NBA’s dark horse team, not just in the East. That demonstrates how deep and talented their starting five is.

7. Phoenix Suns (LW: 4)

The Phoenix Suns have had a typical start to the season. They are winning games and are once again a force in the Western Conference.

8. Atlanta Hawks (LW: 6)

With Trae Young and Dejounte Murray, the Atlanta Hawks may have the best backcourt in the league.

9. Denver Nuggets (LW: 7)

The Denver Nuggets are sure to win this season with the reigning league MVP on the team.

10. Los Angeles Clippers (LW: 14)

The Los Angeles Clippers’ health is the biggest story surrounding them more than any other team in the NBA. This became a problem once more when Kawhi Leonard was recently placed on the injured list.

11. Toronto Raptors (LW: 11)

The Toronto Raptors, led by Nick Nurse, remain a formidable force in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.

12. Dallas Mavericks (LW: 15)

The defending Western Conference runner-ups were harmed by the loss of Jalen Brunson to the New York Knicks in free agency.

The Dallas Mavericks responded to their loss with no major moves, instead asking Luka Doncic to shoulder even more responsibility.

13. New Orleans Pelicans (LW: 10)

The New Orleans Pelicans’ upside is enormous if they can keep Zion Williamson on the court.

14. Washington Wizards (LW: 17)

If Bradley Beal remains healthy, the Washington Wizards have assembled a very strong team around their stalwart superstar.

15. New York Knicks (LW: 20)

With the exception of a recent loss to the Nets, the New York Knicks have only fallen short of the NBA’s elite.

16. San Antonio Spurs (LW: 18)

Despite the lack of a game-changer or even an elite prospect to lean on, the Spurs have started the season 6-7 and are among the top ten teams in the conference.

17. Chicago Bulls (LW: 16)

The Chicago Bulls will be without Lonzo Ball for an extended period of time, and they will also be without Zach Lavine for two games to begin the season.

18. Golden State Warriors (LW: 13)

The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors have recently struggled.

They have struggled on the road, and their usually dependable defense has been one of the league’s worst.

19. Indiana Pacers (LW: 21)

The Indiana Pacers have been a solid team this season, and they may have a dynamic duo on their hands.

20. Minnesota Timberwolves (LW: 12)

The Minnesota Timberwolves have an intriguing combination of players. However, it has done nothing to help them stand out in the conference.

21. Miami Heat (LW: 19)

The Miami Heat have had a slow start to the NBA season, and the loss of PJ Tucker has been noticeable.

22. Philadelphia 76ers (LW: 22)

For a time, the Philadelphia 76ers were nearly as bad as the Lakers.

23. Brooklyn Nets (LW: 24)

The Brooklyn Nets are currently a dumpster fire. They’ve already fired head coach Steve Nash, suspended Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant and his teammates are sick of Ben Simmons’ unreliability.

24. Sacramento Kings (LW: 25)

While De’Aaron Fox has been a standout for the 2-5 Sacramento Kings this season, his wingman Domantas Sabonis has underperformed and been a disappointment.

25. Oklahoma City Thunder (LW: 23)

After a slow start, the Oklahoma City Thunder briefly reached 500.

26. Los Angeles Lakers (LW: 26)

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a terrible start to the season. They are 2-10 under new head coach Darvin Ham, their shooting is subpar, and Russell Westbrook remains a source of headlines and drama.

27. Charlotte Hornets (LW: 27)

The Charlotte Hornets have struggled this season without LaMelo Ball. Despite Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier’s best efforts, the team is near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.

28. Orlando Magic (LW: 28)

The young Orlando Magic have had early season growing pains and are one of several teams undergoing a complete rebuild.

29. Detroit Pistons (LW: 29)

Top prospect Cade Cunningham and summer acquisition Bojan Bogdanovic have had strong seasons, but the Detroit Pistons are still a bottom-three team on offense and defense this season.

30. Houston Rockets (LW: 30)

With Houston being one of the league’s worst offensive teams so far this season, the Rockets appear destined for another lottery pick next June.
