Injury: Knee/Shin

Status: Out for Week 18 at San Francisco

UPDATE (Jan. 8): According to Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com, Conner (shin/knee) will miss Sunday’s game against the 49ers.

UPDATE (Jan. 05): According to Darren Urban of the Cardinals’ official website, James Conner (knee/shin) did not participate in Wednesday’s walkthrough.

UPDATE: James Conner (illness) returned to practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Falcons, according to Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com.

Conner’s return to full participation after missing two practices sets him up for another heavy workload, though with a playoff berth out of the picture, the Cardinals may consider giving their backups some playing time.

Conner has exceeded 90 percent snap share in four of the last five games, and he should get plenty of touches in Atlanta even if he fails to match that mark.

James Conner did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and his availability for the Cardinals’ Week 17 game against the Atlanta Falcons is unknown.
