The Clippers have lost three straight games while going 4-2 SU and ATS in their last six home games. They have the NBA’s third-worst offensive rating, scoring only 109.5 points per 100 possessions. The Clippers rely on defense, allowing 109.4 points per 100 possessions (3rd in the league) on 45.7% field goal shooting (5th) and 34.0% from beyond the arc (tied-3rd).

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com, Kawhi Leonard (illness) is not listed on the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.

Leonard is thus cleared to play on the first night of the back-to-back set, which means he will most likely miss the second game of the set on Friday in Minnesota. Leonard has scored at least 24 points in three of his last four games and will look to extend that streak against a Nuggets team that ranks near the bottom of the league in scoring defense, allowing 114.5 points per game.

Paul George (hamstring) will travel with the team to Denver, but his status for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets is questionable.

George stated after the game on Monday that he was suffering from hamstring pain, which had previously cost him seven games. The issue doesn’t appear to be particularly serious this time, but the team will almost certainly take every precaution to prevent it from worsening. More details about George’s condition are likely to emerge on game day.

The Nuggets failed to extend their winning streak to three games on Monday, falling to the Timberwolves 124-111. Nikola Jokic and his teammates put up another poor defensive effort, allowing 58 points in the paint and 29 assists.

Jeff Green (Hand), Peyton Watson (Groin), and Collin Gillespie (Lower Leg) are all out for this game.
