  • Evan Mobley

Mobley (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Bulls.

Mobley did not play against the Bulls on Saturday, his first absence of the season. Still, there’s a chance he’ll play in the team’s first game of the new year against the same opponent he didn’t face on December 31.

In December, Mobley averaged 13.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, and if he is able to return, Kevin Love will likely return to the bench.

  • Darius Garland

Garland (thumb) is listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Bulls.

Garland missed Saturday’s game against the Bulls due to a sprained thumb on his shooting hand, and it appears he’ll be out again on Monday unless he receives an upgrade in the next 24 hours.

If he sits again, Donovan Mitchell will likely fill in at point guard, and Caris LeVert will likely remain in the starting lineup.

Injury Update for the Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Boston Celtics by 4.5 games. They score 111.2 points per game and shoot 48.1% from the field. Although this is the 26th highest point total per game, it is the eighth highest field goal percentage.

On the defensive end of the court, the Cavaliers have been extremely difficult to beat. They currently allow 106.2 points per game while opponents shoot only 46.2% from the field. This is the eighth-lowest shooting percentage allowed and the fewest points allowed per game.

Evan Mobley (PF) and Darius Garland (PG) are both questionable.

Ricky Rubio (PG) and Dylan Windler (SG) are both out due to knee injuries.
