Bucks vs. Pistons Injury Report: Will Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton participate tonight’ game?

The NBA’s best Milwaukee Bucks will take on the NBA’s worst Detroit Pistons for the fourth and final time this season. Milwaukee won their first three games of the season, including two by at least 20 points.

On Monday at 7:00 p.m., at Little Caesars Arena, we can find out if a massive upset is in the works between these two division rivals.

Updates on Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton’ injury status

Despite having their three-game winning streak snapped by the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, the Bucks still enter the final eight games of the season with the best record in the NBA.

Giannis Antetokounmpo played 32 minutes and scored 31 points (13-22 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), grabbed nine rebounds, dished out four assists, and swiped four steals.

Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 31 points and nearly tied his season-high in steals with 30.

Antetokounmpo (knee) is expected to play against the Pistons on Monday, according to reports.

Antetokounmpo’s inclusion on the injury report is likely precautionary, as Milwaukee played back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday.

He has played in seven consecutive games since missing three with a hand injury, and during that time he has averaged 30.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.

Khris Middleton, on the other hand, played 29 minutes and contributed 13 points (6-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

Middleton, who was managing a knee injury that kept him out of Friday’s rout of Utah, came back for the second game of Milwaukee’s back-to-back.

The veteran forward has played 31.4 minutes per game in eight of the Bucks’ last ten contests, averaging 19.1 points, 7.4 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals.

Despite Milwaukee’s recent player additions, it’s unlikely that they’ll have their full roster available for this contest. Jae Crowder and Goran Dragic are out for the season, and Meyers Leonard’s status for tonight’s game is in doubt.
