On Monday, the New Orleans Pelicans (11-8) will host the Oklahoma City Thunder (8-12) in a Western Conference matchup. Last season, the Thunder won two of three straight up but covered all three spreads.
Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum’s latest injury
The New Orleans Pelicans rank second in offensive efficiency, fourth in scoring average (117.3 points per game), and fifth in field goal and three-point percentage. They rank 12th in scoring defense, allowing 111.7 points per game. In terms of defensive rating, New Orleans is ranked eighth in the NBA.
Brandon Ingram (toe) is listed as questionable for the Thunder game on Monday.
Ingram left the game on Friday with a sprained left big toe, and further testing revealed no structural damage, but he appears to be a long shot to play in this one.
If he is ruled out, Ingram’s next chance to play will be Wednesday against the Raptors at home.
McCollum (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out of Monday’s game against the Thunder.
McCollum will miss his third straight game due to COVID-19 protocols. Brandon Ingram (toe) is also questionable, so Jose Alvarado and Devonte’ Graham are the most likely starters for Monday’s game.
