- Brandon Ingram
Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans’ official site reports that Ingram (toe) is not listed on the team’s injury report for Tuesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Despite missing the second game of the Pelicans’ recent back-to-back set in order to rest his injured left toe, Ingram will play as scheduled on Tuesday in Denver.
He missed two months because of a toe injury, but he played in back-to-back games before sitting out on Sunday, averaging 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 27.5 minutes per game. However, in those games, he shot only 30.0% from the field and 1.0% from beyond the arc.
Despite signs that Pels’ star is returning to form, he will still need to shoulder a significant amount of the offensive load when facing the Nuggets.

- Nikola Jokic
On Saturday, in a loss to the 76ers by a score of 126-119, Nikola Jokic played 38 minutes and finished with 24 points (8-12 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, nine assists, and two blocks.
Even though Jokic, a perennial MVP candidate, had sat out three of the previous four games with hamstring soreness, he was not going to miss his chance to face Joel Embiid. The Nuggets’ center had a streak of four straight triple-doubles snapped as Embiid scored 47 points. Before Denver’s home game on Tuesday against New Orleans, Jokic will have a few more days of rest.

The Pelicans announced on Tuesday that Williamson (hamstring) will be reevaluated in two weeks.
The Pelicans re-evaluated Williamson’s strained right hamstring this week and saw marked improvement since their last checkup. Despite this progress, the Pelicans will give Williamson another two weeks to work on increasing his range of motion and strengthening his hamstring before making a decision about his future with the team.
Williamson could come back as soon as the second week of February if the upcoming reevaluation is any indication, though it wouldn’t be surprising if the Pelicans decided to keep him out until after the All-Star break.

According to Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans, coach Willie Green said that with his ankle injury, Daniels will be “out for a little while.” Green’s comments aren’t definitive, but it seems like the rookie will be out for at least a week. The Pelicans will get Brandon Ingram back from a toe injury, making Daniels’ absence less of a blow.
