The Wizards will be trying to snap their six-game road losing streak when they face the Pacers on Friday night. Wizards is 7-3 in its last 10 games against Pacers.
Are Bradley Beal and Rui Hachimura return today’ game?
The Wizards have had a tough week and enter this contest with a three-game losing streak. With a victory over the Pacers, which would be their first in their previous seven road contests, they will attempt to end their winning streak.
Bradley Beal (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in one week, SShams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Due to hamstring tightness, Beal left Sunday’s loss to the Lakers early. He will now indefinitely miss the upcoming week of competition. The 29-year-old will be forced to sit out a significant number of games for the second time this season after suffering a quadriceps injury that kept him out for five straight games earlier in the year.
The matchup against Indiana on Friday will be without Rui Hachimura (ankle).
Hachimura was given a week-by-week schedule because he hasn’t played since November 18 because of right knee pain. In his absence, it’s likely that Anthony Gil and Deni Avdija will continue to get more time on the clock.
The next opportunity for Hachimura to play will be on Saturday against the Clippers.
The Pacers lost to the Timberwolves in their final game after defeating the Warriors. They will attempt to recover from the defeat by defeating the Wizards, which would be their second victory in their previous three games.
Chris Duarte (ankle) is out for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Duarte hasn’t played since Nov. 4 due to a left ankle sprain. The second-year guard’s next chance to play will be in the second leg of a back-to-back in Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Meanwhile, Isaiah Jackson is questionable for Friday’s game against Washington due to right knee soreness.
