Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson QUESTIONABLE for Pacers - Pelicans

In Friday’s 101-99 victory over the Heat, Indiana produced its best performance of the season.

Miami was held to 99 points on 38.3 percent shooting (both season lows for a Pacers opponent) and the Blue & Gold scored 23 points off 19 Miami turnovers.

Most notably, the Pacers held the Heat without a field goal for the final 5:35 of the game on Friday, stringing together crucial stops to secure the victory.

If the Pacers can continue to play strong defense, they may be able to put together a winning streak. Indiana has already shown that it has an abundance of offensive firepower on its roster.

Despite missing All-Star forward Zion Williamson for the entire season due to a foot injury, the Pelicans finished eighth in the West last season.

Williamson is back and doing well this season. To begin the season, the 6-6, 284-pound big man has appeared in seven of nine games, averaging 22.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.

Ingram’s stability and scoring will be critical for a Pelicans team that expects to make a serious playoff push this season.

New Orleans believes that with a healthy Zion Williamson, they can be one of the better teams in the Western Conference.

If Ingram does return, it will be a good litmus test for the Pelicans to see how they stack up against the defending champions.

There is no current word on whether Ingram will be limited to a certain number of minutes in his first game back, but with him listed as probable, the expectation is that he will play.
