Will Tee Higgins playing Sunday night? Fantasy injury update for Bengals – Saints
UPDATE 2: Higgins (ankle) returned to practice in a limited capacity, increasing his chances of playing in Week 6.
UPDATE: According to ESPN’s Ben Baby, Higgins did not participate in practice on Thursday but was seen working off to the side, he did not practice on Wednesday either.
Higgins has been out since Week 4 against the Dolphins due to this injury. Higgins has a chance to play WR2/3 against the Saints if he can get through practice over the next two days.
Head coach Zac Taylor told journalists on Monday that the young wide receiver is day-to-day with an ankle injury but seeing him as a DNP is not a positive sign.

Higgins will be a game-time decision this week, according to Bengals head coach Zac Taylor. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, this is still the case as of Sunday morning. Rapoport did, however, add that there is hope that Higgins will be active.
After what happened last week, it’s difficult to know what to do with Higgins. He played in Week 5 but saw no targets and left the game in the second half.
That meant fantasy managers who relied on him got no fantasy points from the usually dependable receiver. That concern has now shifted to this weekend, with Higgins in a similar situation.
The good news is that this is a 1 p.m. ET matchup, so fantasy managers will have time to adjust if Higgins is ruled out.
Even if he is active, it may be prudent to leave him on the bench this week after he was not used much when he was on the field last week.
Tyler Boyd should see a rise in targets if Higgins misses time and becomes a 14-team Flex option. In the meantime, Michael Thomas should benefit from more snaps and could be an intriguing Flex option in 14-team and deeper leagues.
