AFC top-tier contenders the Chiefs, Bills, Bengals and Jets entered the 2023 season with Super Bowl aspirations. All four lost – two in blowouts. And yet none saw a dip in their Super Bowl or playoff odds as noticeable as the Jets.
It was projected that New York had a 3.7 percent chance of winning the Super Bowl entering the year; however, the injury to Aaron Rodgers dropped the Jets’ playoff odds from 59.7 percent to 36.5 percent entering Week 2.
