With three running backs returning from the IR in recent weeks, Week 11 is relatively quiet in terms of fantasy football injury updates. However, there are still some intriguing players who are either about to be eligible to return or will be in the coming weeks. Let’s look at when players like Marquise Brown, Carson Wentz, Randall Cobb.
Fantasy Injury Week 11 Report: Randall Cobb, Marquise Brown and Carson Wentz

REALATED: Week 11 Fantasy Injury: Gus Edwards, Jonathan Taylor and Mark Andrews
SUMMARY
- Marquise Brown
- Carson Wentz
- Randall Cobb
Let’s get to it.
1. Marquise Brown
UPDATE: Brown (foot) participated in some individual drills during Thursday’s practice.
Brown is eligible to be activated from injured reserve this week after suffering a non-surgical foot injury in Week 6.
Brown was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 7, meaning he has now missed the required four games.
As a result, Brown could be back in practice this week and possibly on the field against the San Francisco 49ers.
The injury’s preliminary prognosis suggested a six-week absence. Brown would have been eligible to return in Week 14, following the Arizona Cardinals’ bye week.
However, with the Cardinals at 4-6 and their season on the line, Arizona will want their WR2 back as soon as possible without jeopardizing his health.
2. Carson Wentz
UPDATE: Wentz (finger) has resumed throwing but will miss practice on Wednesday.
Carson Wentz could be activated from injured reserve in Week 11.
However, given the way Taylor Heinicke has performed in his absence, there is no guarantee that Wentz will return to the starting lineup.
If you’ve been stashing Wentz on your IR in anticipation of his return, it’ll be difficult when he does
You may be wasting a roster spot if there is no timetable for his return to a starting role.
Wentz is only worth considering as a stash option in 14-team or deeper Superflex formats.

3. Randall Cobb
UPDATE: Cobb (ankle) caught all six targets for 73 yards in Thursday night’s 27-17 loss to the Titans. He also recovered a fumble by Aaron Jones.
When it comes to Randall Cobb, the Green Bay Packers are pressed for time.
The WR is eligible to return this week, but with a short week before Thursday Night Football, they may not want to rush him.
Cobb has a chance to play this week, according to head coach Matt LaFleur during his Monday media availability.
Cobb will begin the week by taking part in the team’s walkthrough, and his progress throughout the week will be fascinating to watch.
Even if he is active, fantasy managers will be hesitant to trust him because there is no way of knowing how much he will play this week.
