Blake Proehl was decided to add to the Minnesota Vikings’ active roster on Monday, two weeks after his practice window had ended.

The Vikings waived Proehl and made two other roster moves on Tuesday, similar to what they did with linebacker Ryan Connelly.

Dorn was also waived by the Vikings on Monday. With the addition of Theo Jackson last week, the Vikings were unlikely to carry five safeties in the long term.

Dorn’s return to the practice squad made sense because the Vikings like him and what he brings to the team.

When Dorn was signed to the active roster, Brown was added to the practice squad. His departure is understandable.

The Vikings currently have 52 NFL players on their roster. What exactly does this mean for the Vikings? Could this mean they’re interested in Odell Beckham Jr.? On Tuesday, he hinted on Twitter that a change in his status was possible.

With Justin Jefferson, Patrick Peterson, and Ed Ingram, the Vikings have a sizable LSU contingent.

When you combine that with the Vikings’ 5-1 record, they could become a serious contender for his services at the right price. After all, head coach Kevin O’Connell did work with him in Los Angeles last season.
