According to Brenden Nunes of The Kings Herald, the injury occurred while he was covering Bradley Beal in the backcourt, and it’s difficult to see exactly what happened on that play from replays.

It’s unclear how serious Domantas Sabonis’ injury is or how much time he’ll miss, if any. Should he miss time or have his play hampered by the injury, it will be a huge blow to the Kings, who have been one of the season’s biggest surprises.
The Kings are 17-14 and sixth in the Western Conference thanks to Sabonis’ All-Star season. They are only three games behind the No. 1 seed Denver Nuggets in a West with no clear favorite.
Sabonis has averaged 17.9 points per game, 12.4 rebounds, and 6.7 assists this season while shooting a career-high 61.2 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three-point range.
He has appeared in all 31 games for the Kings so far. The Sabonis trade was heavily criticized because Tyrese Haliburton was a promising player.
However, the trade appears to have benefited both teams, with the Kings receiving a nice complement to De’Aaron Fox.
Sabonis was a two-time All-Star for the Pacers and was on his way to becoming a three-time All-Star.
