Week 10 wasn’t a total flop for the Rams, but it was close. Matthew Stafford has been ruled out of Los Angeles’ divisional matchup against Arizona due to a concussion.

Stafford’s favorite target sustained an injury of his own on Sunday as backup quarterback John Wolford tried to will the reigning Super Bowl champions to victory.

Cooper Kupp broke his ankle in the 4th quarter of the Rams’ eventual 27-17 loss and did not continue playing after being assisted to the locker room by medical personnel.

The injury appeared to be serious at first glance, and head coach Sean McVay suggested as much after his team fell to 3-6 on the season.

“It didn’t appear to be good. According to ESPN’s Sarah Barshop, “it didn’t sound good.”

Luckily for Kupp and the Rams, the Super Bowl LVI MVP it seems to be on the mend.

According to The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue, initial testing on Kupp’s ankle revealed that the superstar wide receiver avoided “the worst-case scenario” with his injury.

However, Rodrigue warned that the situation could change in the coming days as Kupp undergoes additional testing.

The Rams dropped to 13th in the NFC West after their loss to the Cardinals.

Los Angeles will try to snap its three-game winning streak when it visits the 3-7 New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but the Rams’ best offensive player does not appear to be available in Week 11.
