We have some new NBA trade rumors from Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus, and there are a few notable names mentioned in relation to the Kings.

- Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby – Raptor
Pincus discusses several Toronto Raptors players who could be traded as the team shifts its timeline to build around Scottie Barnes, including Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Fred VanVleet, and Gary Trent. He names the Kings as a team that is likely to be interested:
While both VanVleet and Trent are talented players, neither appears to be a likely target for the Kings. The Kings and Siakam have previously been linked in rumors, and he or Anunoby would also be excellent fits for the Kings.
Siakam is 28 years old and has one year left on his contract. Anunoby, who is only 25 years old, has a one-year contract with a player option. Either player would be an excellent fit for the Kings, but the challenge will be putting together a package that will satisfy Toronto.
- Kyle Kuzma – Wizards
Kuzma is still thought to be on the Sacramento Kings’ radar after the Los Angeles Lakers traded him to Washington instead of Sacramento in 2021.
Kuzma could be a good fit for the Kings as a versatile scoring forward, but he is a step back in terms of floor spacing. He’s shooting 33.3% from deep this season, down from 34.1% last year.
On the plus side, Kuzma would be a solid cutting threat for Domantas Sabonis to pass to. There’s also the possibility that Kuzma’s numbers will improve if he isn’t the primary offensive option. Kuzma, who is still only 27 years old, also fits the Kings’ timeline.
There are two issues with Kuzma. First and foremost, Kuzma is a free agent this summer looking for a big payday.
Kuzma (27), on the other hand, is a flight risk and the type of player that many rebuilding teams would like to sign in free agency. He could be a top-five free agent this offseason, or even a top-10 free agent. “He wants out,” according to an NBA source. “He wants to make more than $20 million per season in a big market [or with a contender].”
There’s also the question of whether a big-money player will be content to be the third or fourth option on offense. We’ve seen Monte McNair trade for a player after initially passing on him, but I’d have some fit concerns with Kuzma on this team.
