This last Friday, the Denver Nuggets extended their winning streak to three games. They easily defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 120-107.
In 36 minutes against the Trail Blazers, Nikola Jokic had 29 points (12-21 FG, 5-8 FT), eight rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals.
Jokic led Denver to an early lead by scoring 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting and dishing out four assists in the first quarter. He only made two more shots for eight points between the second and third quarters before pouring in 11 on 5-of-6 shooting in the fourth. The reigning MVP also had 11 assists in the game, his third game in a row with at least 10 assists.
Because there are no reported injuries, the Nuggets will field the strongest lineup in this game.
The Suns are coming off a 125-100 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. The Suns finished a four-game homestand with their second straight loss, falling 113-110 to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
Concerning injury reports for this game, Cameron Johnson (knee) is out, while Devin Booker (groin) and Cameron Payne (foot) are listed as questionable.
Cameron Payne will miss his sixth straight game on Sunday, but the Suns may get Devin Booker (groin) back, who is listed as questionable. Payne’s next opportunity to play will be at Memphis on Tuesday.
