The Denver Nuggets may experience a change as soon as this coming Tuesday as they travels to Houston to take on the Rockets.
Updates Injury Status for Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray
With a victory, Denver (52-26) would lock up the Western Conference’s top seed. Since joining the NBA in 1976, the Nuggets have never done this.
The Nuggets were able to get here after their spectacular victory over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night.
- Nikola Jokic – Doubt vs. Rockets
Denver have missed the services of star Nikola Jokic for the last three games. The two-time reigning MVP has been sidelined for the past week due to an ongoing calf ailment.
It appears that Jokic will miss Tuesday’s game against the Houston Rockets owing to the same ailment that sidelined him last time.
There is some doubt as to whether or not he will play on Tuesday; if he can’t, Thomas Bryant and DeAndre Jordan should continue to see more minutes.
For Murray, even with a sprained right thumb, he could suit up for Tuesday’s game against the Rockets.
In addition to the knee issue Murray has been nursing for the past three weeks, he is also experiencing thumb pain in advance of Tuesday’s match. The game versus Houston, however, should be a go for him.
Averaging 35.8 minutes, 20.8 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in his last 10 games.
