Butler is scheduled to play in his fourth straight game despite a persistent ankle injury. He has averaged 24.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks in 41.0 minutes across the first four games of this series.

Despite the dubious designation, the All-Star forward is expected to play again on Wednesday, though his official availability is unlikely to be confirmed until closer to the 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff.

Jimmy Butler (ankle) is labeled as questionable but is likely to play in Game 4 against New York on Monday, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Butler returned to action in Game 3 after missing Game 2 due to an ankle injury sustained in Game 1.
He’ll almost certainly suit up again on Monday, but Miami will very certainly wait until a few hours before the 7:30 p.m. ET tip-off to make an official decision on the All-Star’s availability.

Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel writes that Jimmy Butler’s status for Tuesday’s Game 2 against New York is “questionable” due to an ankle injury.
On Monday, head coach Erik Spoelstra indicated that Jimmy Butler was receiving treatment around the clock. However, it is expected that Butler’s official availability won’t be known until the start of the game.
UPDATE (May. 01):
With just over five minutes remaining in Game 1 of the Heat-Knicks series at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Miami star Jimmy Butler drove to his right and ascended for a jumper, drawing contact from New York swingman Josh Hart.
Inadvertently, Hart kicked his foot into Butler’s right foot, causing him to roll his ankle and writhe in pain as the play ended.

Butler fought through it and stayed in the game. In 43 minutes, he had 25 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
While Butler delivered another outstanding performance, an ankle injury suffered midway through the fourth quarter is sure to make headlines ahead of Game 2.
While he was able to continue playing, the injury clearly hampered him.
He will, of course, try everything in his power to play on Tuesday, but given his importance, the medical team will not take any chances given the 1-0 lead.

On Saturday night, the Miami Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks. Not everything was a joy for them, though, as Jimmy Butler scared the entire organization during the game.
Butler took a heavy fall after going for a bucket and had to walk to the Heat locker room.

He returned to the game, but there was no update on his ailment. Butler had a bruised glute as a result of this action.

If the bruise is minor, the glutes should heal in a couple of days. Otherwise, full recovery could take many weeks.
Butler is the Heat’s leader, and losing him will be devastating for the team.
