Jacksonville Jaguars started the season strong, winning two of its first three games. The Jaguars went on to lose their next five games in a row, though all of them were decided by one possession. They have since recovered, winning two of their last three games.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have declared running back Travis Etienne Jr. questionable for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, despite Etienne and Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson both saying he’s fine.

The Jaguars have been hesitant to use the word “probable” this season, but Etienne is expected to play on Sunday. It’s also unlikely that wide receiver Zay Jones or safety Andre Cisco, both of whom are questionable, will play against the Lions.

Detroit Lions had a disastrous start to the season, losing six of its first seven games. Since then, the Lions have gone on an impressive three-game winning streak, defeating the Packers, Bears, and Giants.

The Lions are missing only two players: guard Evan Brown and pass rusher Julian Okwara.

The remaining players on the injury report, including cornerback Jeff Okudah, offensive lineman Penei Sewell, and center Frank Ragnow, are all expected to play on Sunday.

This week’s Lions report is notable for the absence of rookie Jameson Williams, who has yet to be promoted to the active roster as he recovers from an ACL tear that ended his collegiate career.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said on Friday that he hasn’t decided whether Williams will make his NFL debut against the Jaguars.
