The Bucks will take on the Celtics in Boston. This will be the first time these two teams have met this season, and I anticipate a battle on Christmas Day!

The Milwaukee Bucks were defeated by the Brooklyn Nets 118-110 on Friday. Milwaukee’s defense struggled, allowing the Nets to shoot 49.5% from the field. If they want to compete with the Celtics on the road, they must contest more shots.
Over 36 minutes, Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 26 points (9-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-11 FT), 13 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in a 118-100 loss to the Nets.
Antetokounmpo shot well and recorded his third straight double-double in Friday’s loss, but his shot volume was noticeably lower. His 13 shots tied his season high from 2022-23. The star forward has attempted 20 or more shots in five of his ten December games, so it’s only a matter of time before he produces a more impactful offensive performance.
Middleton (knee) is questionable for this game.
Middleton’s absence streak will most likely extend to five games on Sunday due to right knee soreness. Due to injuries, the star forward has had a difficult season, appearing in only seven games after recovering from wrist surgery before injuring his knee. If Middleton is ruled out for Sunday, he will have another chance to play on Wednesday against Chicago.
The Boston Celtics won 121-109 against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. Boston looked great on both ends of the floor, and if they want to stay in this game at home, they’ll need to be efficient.
Robert Williams III (Illness) is listed as questionable for this game.
Williams missed the Celtics’ previous contest due to illness but is back in the frontcourt mix for Sunday. Williams figures to slot back into a bench role as he continues ramping up his activity after a lengthy absence due to a knee injury.
