The Memphis Grizzlies will face off against the Indiana Pacers in a road game. This is the first meeting between these two squads this year, and I anticipate a tough game.
Latest Injury Updates Grizzlies vs. Pacers game
The Grizzlies have won their previous game, 135-129, against the San Antonio Spurs. They were particularly impressive on offense, where they’ll need to maintain their momentum if they’re going to challenge the Pacers on the road.
One of the best duos in the NBA right now is Steven Adams and Ja Morant.
Ja Morant (thigh) scored 38 points (14-25 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-9 FT) with five rebounds, four assists, and one block in 32 minutes of Wednesday’s 135-129 victory over the Spurs.
After missing two games, Morant returned and performed admirably. It was a closer game than most people expected, but he led the Grizzlies to victory over an NBA also-ran.
Meanwhile, Adams played all 33 minutes of Wednesday’s 135-129 win over San Antonio, and he contributed 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 FT), 18 rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and one steal.

PLAYER | POSITION | UPDATED | INJURY | INJURY STATUS |

Myles Turner | C | Fri, Jan 13 | Back | Expected to be out until at least Jan 14 |
Aaron Nesmith | SF | Fri, Jan 13 | Illness | Expected to be out until at least Jan 14 |
Tyrese Haliburton | PG | Thu, Jan 12 | Knee | Expected to be out until at least Jan 27 |
Daniel Theis | C | Thu, Jan 12 | Knee | Expected to be out until at least Jan 16 |
Kendall Brown | SF | Thu, Jan 12 | Lower Leg | Expected to be out until at least Jan 16 |
As the Pacers fell to the Knicks on Wednesday, Tyrese Haliburton suffered injuries to his left elbow and left knee. And he will be examined in two weeks.
This seems like a good outcome considering the guard had to leave Wednesday’s game on crutches. But even after two weeks, fantasy managers shouldn’t rush Haliburton back into action because the Pacers will likely be cautious with their star player.
