The Hot Pickle challenge involves consuming the spicy vegetable with minimal reaction, and the 52-year-old celebrity tried it out. One popular aspect of the Pickle Trend on TikTok is eating a giant Van Holten’s Hot Pickle.
“I’m going to drink it,” Amanda said, taking a sip of the spicy juice around the pickle before adding: “It tastes like the sea but with a bit of chilli in it.”
Ashley Roberts, Amanda’s co-host, was shocked at the size of the pickle when she pulled it out of the package: “Woah! That is a big papa pickle!”
“OMG! Hunny, that’s large,”
“I’m used to bigger, I’m going to say,” Amanda’s quip was sarcastic as she examined the pickle she was about to eat. She then made an effort to take a single bite out of the vegetable by enclosing it in her lips.
“You’ve got to swallow it all in one,” added co-host Jamie Theakston.
“Oh my god, it’s gorgeous,” Amanda said after taking a giant bite. “I really like it. This is really good.”

Following Amanda’s video response to the viral challenge, her fans went crazy in the comments.
“All I’m sayin is she loves a pickle… Lucky Chris..” one cheekily tweeted, shouting out Amanda’s husband of 15 years, Chris Hughes.
