Injury Reports Clippers - Hornets

For nearly two weeks, the Los Angeles Clippers have been without their star duo. Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have been out with injuries for the Clippers during a difficult stretch of games.

The good news is that Leonard and George traveled with the Clippers on their four-game road trip and are listed as doubtful for Monday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. Both were listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Kings, but neither played.

It’s unclear whether they’ll be ready for Monday’s flight to Charlotte, but they should return at some point during this trip.

Luke Kennard is also questionable, while Norman Powell is out.

At home, the Hornets are 4-7. Charlotte has a 14.2 turnover rate per game and is 4- when they turn the ball over less than their opponents.

LaMelo Ball (ankle) will not play against the Clippers on Monday.

A sprained left ankle will keep Ball out for the eighth time in a row. The 21-year-old has only played in three games this season and has yet to be assigned a return date.

Because Dennis Smith (ankle) is also out, Terry Rozier and Theo Maledon will fill in at point guard.

Mark Williams (ankle) will be out against the Clippers on Monday.

Williams will be out for the second game in a row due to an ankle sprain. He has spent the majority of the season with the Greensboro Swarm of the G League, appearing in only three games for the Hornets.
