The league is reviewing Adams’ actions following a 30-29 loss to Kansas City, according to a person familiar with the process, and possible punishment includes a fine or suspension, according to The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Because the league had not made the review public, the person spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Adams could face discipline, according to NFL Network.

Sgt. Jake Becchina of the Kansas City Police Department’s assault unit is investigating the incident and will work with prosecutors to determine whether charges are warranted.

He did not provide a timetable, only stating that it could take several days.

Adams pushed what appeared to be a member of a camera crew to the ground as he exited the field and entered the Arrowhead Stadium tunnel to the locker room.

Becchina stated that the photographer was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Adams apologized to the media after the game and later on Twitter.

“I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s the way I responded. I want to apologize to him for that.”

“He jumped in front of me coming off the field. I kind of pushed him. He ended up on the ground,” Adams said after the game. “I want to apologize to him for that. That was just frustration mixed with him really just running in front of me.”

Adams had three catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns in the game. In his first season with the Raiders, he has 29 receptions for 414 yards and five touchdowns.
