Injury Reports Clippers - Hawks

The Clippers listed Paul George (hamstring), Luke Kennard (calf), and Nicolas Batum (ankle) as questionable for this game.

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com, Kawhi Leonard (knee) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Hawks.

Leonard will return to the court on Sunday after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves for rest. He’s averaging 19.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.0 steals in 30.8 minutes since the beginning of December.

The Clippers have been cautious with Kawhi Leonard all season, so the Hawks have a good chance to keep it close and eventually pull out a win.

George missed Friday’s game against the Timberwolves due to right hamstring soreness. George has struggled with hamstring injuries in recent years, and I expect him to miss a few more games. If he’s out again on Sunday, Luke Kennard, Terance Mann, and Norman Powell could see more playing time.

The Atlanta Hawks lost again on Friday night after snapping a four-game losing streak with a 120-117 victory over the Sacramento Kings last Wednesday. They were defeated 130-114 as 2.5-point road favorites by the Los Angeles Lakers, dropping their record to 18-21 SU and 15-23-1 ATS on the season.

Injury reports: Clint Capela could be out for the seventh straight game due to a calf injury.
