Cavaliers vs. Grizzlies Injuries

The Cavaliers are coming into this game on the strength of a 113-103 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. The defense was outstanding, and they’ll need to maintain that level of intensity if they’re going to challenge the Grizzlies on the road.

Injury Report: Donovan Mitchell SG (Groin) is questionable. Dylan Windler SG (Ankle) and Dean Wade SF (Shoulder) are out.

Donovan Mitchell has a groin injury and may not play against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

After experiencing a left groin strain in the previous game, Mitchell’s availability for Wednesday’s match has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful.

If Mitchell cannot play this Wednesday, his next opportunity to do so would be the Warriors game on Friday.

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Phoenix Suns, 136-106, in their previous game. Memphis completely dominated the second half, and the outcome was never in doubt. If they want to beat the Cavaliers at home, they must maintain their offensive effectiveness.

Ja Morant scored 29 points on 11-20 shooting from the field, 5-8 from deep, and 2-2 from the free throw line in 27 minutes of Monday’s 136-106 victory over the Suns. In seven consecutive games, the star point guard has scored at least 23 points and dished out at least five assists.

The Grizzlies’ star is once again producing elite numbers, this time with career-highs in points (27.5) and assists (7.9).

Injury Report: John Konchar SG (Illness) is questionable. Danny Green SG (Knee) is out.
