Bears vs Patriots injury update: The Patriots suffered significant losses

The Patriots

  • Patriots

The Patriots will start the game with 12 questionable players, led by quarterback Mac Jones, who took part in limited primetime practice and spoke with reporters at his locker on Friday.

“I think it feels pretty good,” the team captain said of the sprained left high-ankle he suffered on Sept. 25. “Just trying to work through all the stuff, being able to play in an NFL football game. Want to be able to go out there and help the team and once I’m there, I’m there. So, I’m definitely making progress and we’ve done a good job with the treatment.”

List of 12 questionable players:

WR Kendrick Bourne (toe)

OT Isaiah Wynn (shoulder)

G Mike Onwenu (ankle)

CB Jonathan Jones (ankle)

CB Jalen Mills (illness)

CB Shaun Wade (illness)

QB Mac Jones (ankle)

WR Nelson Agholor (hamstring)

DT Lawrence Guy (shoulder)

DT Christian Barmore (knee)

LB Josh Uche (hamstring)

LB Anfernee Jennings (calf)

Wade would be the only active member of the Patriots’ roster who would be absent from practice on Friday and Saturday. Despite being sick, the 2021 fifth-round pick out of Ohio State made his season debut against the Cleveland Browns last weekend, playing nine defensive snaps and three special teams snaps. With Jennings arriving late on the injury report, the remaining dozen questionable players were limited. However, starting running back Damien Harris, who worked out for three straight days, will be out due to a hamstring injury. On 65 touches this season, he has 287 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns.

  • The Bears

The Bears have not reported any player injuries and will almost certainly field their strongest team in the upcoming game.
