Injury Reports 76ers-Hornets

The Philadelphia 76ers were defeated by the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-109. They played admirably in this game, but the Timberwolves were ultimately more decisive. If the 76ers are to compete with the Hornets on the road, they must improve their defense.

Tobias Harris had 24 points (10-21 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, and three assists in 34 minutes against the Nets on Tuesday.

Harris had a strong final stat line despite missing his team’s previous two games due to a hip injury. He’s grabbed six rebounds in three straight games and has dished out seven assists during that time.

The 76ers may rely more heavily on Harris until Tyrese Maxey (foot), James Harden (foot), and Joel Embiid (foot) are cleared to return.

Tyrese Maxey (foot) was diagnosed on Saturday with a small fracture in his left foot and will be out for three to four weeks.

After landing awkwardly during Friday’s game against the Bucks, Maxey was assisted to the locker room. Despite the fact that the initial X-rays were negative, further testing revealed a minor fracture.

The Charlotte Hornets were defeated by the Washington Wizards 106-102. The Hornets shot 39% from the field and struggled to score enough points to keep the game close. They must improve on the offensive end of the court if they are to compete with the Sixers at home.

LaMelo Ball (ankle) will miss the 76ers game on Wednesday.
