Jrue Holiday (illness) is expected to play on Friday against the Cavaliers.
Holiday has played in three games since returning from an ankle sprain, and the illness isn’t expected to keep him from playing on Friday. This month, he’s averaging 17.4 points, 7.1 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 29.9 minutes.

The Cleveland Cavaliers currently sit third in the Eastern Conference, only 2.5 games behind the first-place Boston Celtics. They must stay hot if they are to get closer to the top two seeds.
In 36 minutes against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday, Darius Garland had 24 points (9-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and 12 assists.
Garland missed five of his six first-quarter shots but made up for it with six assists. He was an efficient scorer for the rest of the game, scoring 22 points in the final three quarters and going 8-for-13 from the field.

Donovan Mitchell finished the game against the Trail Blazers with 34 points (11-18 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 31 minutes.
Mitchell was a consistent offensive presence for Cleveland on Wednesday, scoring at least six points in each quarter. For the fourth time this season, he made at least six three-pointers.
