  • Indiana Pacers 

Despite playing the second half of a back-to-back set at home, Indiana still managed to lose to Memphis on Saturday night, bringing their losing streak to three games.

Sunday found the Pacers 4.5 games back of division leaders Milwaukee. They were the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, 1.5 games behind the Knicks for the final berth, nine games behind Boston for the top spot, and 3.5 games ahead of 11th-place Toronto.

Daniel Theis had knee surgery in the middle of November and is out for the rest of the season. He hasn’t been on the court yet this year.

Haliburton (knee) left Madison Square Garden on January 11 with crutches and is expected to be out of action for a couple of weeks.

Kendall Brown has been out with a stress reaction in his leg since December 7. He will be out for the rest of the season.

Nesmith, Turner, and Bitadze all missed Saturday’s game because they were sick or had back spasms. They are all day-to-day. Keep an eye out for any changes in their situations that could lead to tip-off.

Milwaukee lost its second game in a row and was swept by the Heat in their two-game series in South Beach on Saturday afternoon.

Before Sunday, the Bucks were half a game ahead of the Cavaliers in the Central Division. They were third in the East, and Boston was in first place by 4.5 games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the best player for Milwaukee this season. He averages 31 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.

Brook Lopez scores 14.4 points and grabs 6.5 rebounds per game. Jrue Holiday adds 18.3 points, 7.3 assists, Bobby Portis scores 14 points and grabs 10 rebounds, Khris Middleton scores 11.1 points, and Grayson Allen scores 10.2 points.

There are also good players like Jordan Nwora, George Hill, Serge Ibaka, Joe Ingles, MarJon Beauchamp, Wesley Matthews, and Jevon Carter.

Antetokounmpo has missed the last two games because of a knee injury, and Ibaka hasn’t played since New Year’s Day because of personal reasons.

Middleton has been out with a knee injury since December 15 and doesn’t know when he’ll be back.
