An insane “column” from the San Francisco media should keep the Giants out of the Aaron Judge race

MLB insider Jon Heyman, who went so far as to call Samantha Judge’s participation in the New York City Marathon a “positive sign” that Aaron Judge will stay with the Yankees? Or the San Francisco media for composing a snarky 100-word retort?

New article: Zach Ertz and Cooper Kupp injury status for WEEK 10

Heyman’s inside information was belittled in such a condescending way that it was actually impressive in this SFGate piece titled, “I really hope Aaron Judge’s wife didn’t run a marathon as a decoy.”

That is cutting-edge to do in 100 words. Is this the internet’s next frontier? Maybe we can learn something from it.

But it’s hard to imagine a Yankees executive wondering if this helped Judge’s case to stay with the team.

The rival agent who spoke with Heyman and questioned whether it was a “ploy to show other teams of interest in New York” was getting a little conspiracy-y, but Judge’s free agency will be as well-publicized as anyone else’s in recent memory.

But, on the other hand, Judge should reconsider returning home because there’s nothing to suggest that the bizarre coverage will stop once he arrives in the Bay Area.

We hope the Yankees have a leg up on the Giants in their pursuit of Aaron Judge

Also, how did Samantha complete the marathon in such a “painful” manner? The winner of the race finished in 2:08:41. That’s a mile time of 4:55. That is unquestionably the best you will see anywhere in the world.

Samantha completed the race in four hours and twelve minutes, averaging 9:36 per mile. That’s pretty good for someone who isn’t a professional runner aiming to win the New York City marathon!

How can we be so picky about something so insignificant and insignificant?

Farhan Zaidi, the Giants’ president of baseball operations, stated this week that no free agent would be denied a contract and that it is a matter of mutual interest.

If Judge’s hypothetical interest in the Giants has waned in any way, SFGate may have to fall on the sword.
