CHICAGO BULLS

Chicago (38-41) has already earned a spot in the play-in tournament and looks like it will be the No. 10 team. If the Bulls make it to the first round, they could play against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Chicago just lost to the Atlanta Hawks 123-105 at home on Tuesday night.

Zach LaVine got 26 points for the Bulls, DeMar DeRozan got 21, and Nikola Vucevic got 19 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bulls’ coach, Billy Donovan, said, “We had a rough shooting night from three — that happens — but we could be a lot better defensively,” Bulls coach Billy Donovan said. “We competed, but we did not compete at the level that was good enough to win the game. That’s the bottom line. That part of it is disappointing.”

LaVine and Derozan score the most points for the Bulls, with 25.1 and 24.9 points per game, respectively. Derozan also has the most assists (5.1) and the most rebounds (11.1) per game.

“Every one of these games is a must-win game for us,” LaVine said.  “Obviously we didn’t do good enough. They wanted it more than us. It’s tough to have that type of result at this point in the season.

The Bulls want to win the season series against their I-94 rival for the first time since the 2015-2016 season. They won the first two games of the season, one of which went into overtime, but the Bucks got their revenge on February 16 with a 112-100 win.

Let’s scroll down to see how many Bulls’ players got hurt and won’t be able to play tonight.

MILWAUKEE BUCKS

When they host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will try to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

After beating the Washington Wizards 140-128 on Tuesday, the Bucks (57-22) will play for the second night in a row on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo was the best player for Milwaukee. He had 28 points, 10 assists, and 11 boards.

Antetokounmpo, on the other hand, played down the importance of being at home and praised a few other Eastern Conference teams.

Antetokounmpo said, “At the end of the day, Boston is a beast, Philly is a beast, Cleveland is a beast, New York is a beast.”

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, on the other hand, was happy with taking things one game at a time.

“These games, you got to have a good focus and come out of halftime ready,” Budenholzer said. “Lot of good play all up and down the roster, we shot it well. The guys had good focus and got an important win for us.”

This season, Antetokounmpo has been the Bucks’ best scorer (31.1 points per game) and best rebounder (11.8 rebounds per game). Jrue Holiday has the most assists (7.2) and steals (1.2) per game for his team, while Brook Lopez has the most blocks (2.5) on average.

Let’s look at the Bucks’ list of players who are hurt for tonight’s game against the Bulls.

Khris Middleton missed Tuesday’s game to manage his return from a knee injury, but the Bucks think he will be able to play on Thursday.

Budenholzer says that Pat Connaughton might not be able to play on Wednesday because he sprained his right ankle on Monday.

Grayson Allen likely won’t play Wednesday because he hurt his ankle.
