Jack White will be out of commission once more as his left adductor strain does not improve. Even if he is out for the rest of the season, the Nuggets’ rotation won’t be impacted.

Aaron Gordon may not play on Thursday against the Warriors due to a sprained left ankle.

Gordon scored 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT) and added six rebounds and six assists in all 36 minutes of Tuesday’s win over the Pelicans. Unfortunately, he also seems to have twisted his ankle during the game.

While the specifics of the issue are unclear, Bruce Brown, Jeff Green, and Christian Braun may be asked to take on more responsibility if Gordon is unable to do so.

In the meantime, Collin Gillespie has yet to make his NBA debut because he is healing from a fracture in his right lower leg. His anticipated return date is currently unknown.

  • Nikola Jokic

On Tuesday, Jokic helped Denver win by a score of 122-113 over New Orleans. In 38 minutes, he scored 26 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), grabbed 18 rebounds, gave out 15 assists, blocked one shot, and stole one.

On Tuesday, Jokic and Jamal Murray had great stats that helped the Nuggets win, and the perennial MVP candidate doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

Jokic’s production is hard to beat, and even though he’s not grabbing as many boards as he did in 2021-22 (11.1 per game), he’s still averaging a triple-double with 25.1 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds per game.

Andre Iguodala Feb. 1 Hip Questionable

It was on January 13 against the Spurs that Iguodala last suited up for an NBA game. His three-game winning streak ended there. The war hero’s hip is still bothering him, and he has no idea when he will be able to play again. They probably want him to be healthy enough to play in the postseason.

  • Klay Thompson

On Thursday against the Nuggets, Klay Thompson will be available to play.

Thompson scored double digits for the second game in a row, this time on the strength of six more three-pointers. He finished second on the Warriors in scoring with 28 points, behind only Stephen Curry (38).

Since before Christmas, the veteran guard has only missed two games where he did not score at least 24 points. It’s important to remember that he still sits out one game in back-to-back sets for injury management, and the Warriors have a back-to-back on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as another one right before the All-Star break.
