The Trail Blazers will play the Mavericks for the second consecutive game on Sunday at their home arena. On Saturday night, the Blazers prevailed over the Mavericks by a score of 136-119.
Luka Doncic ACTIVE, Justise Winslow OUT for Mavericks vs. Blazers game

- Warriors vs. Bulls Injuries: DeMar DeRozan and Stephen Curry ready?
- Injuries Lakers – 76ers: LeBron James, Joel Embiid and Anthony Davis ready?
Although Damian Lillard came out on top in the first heavyweight bout of the two-day series, Luka Doncic will be eager to avenge his team’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night when the Portland Trail Blazers play host to the Blazers once more.
On Saturday, the Blazers rolled to a 136-119 victory over the Mavericks as Doncic struggled to find his rhythm and scored just 15 points, 19 points below his season average.
Doncic, the NBA’s leading scorer, shot just 7-of-19 and made zero of his five 3-point attempts on Saturday due to the pressure he was under. On Thursday, he played a career-high 53 minutes in a 119-115 double-overtime victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, and it showed.
With another dose of Doncic still to come, he was understandably wary, especially since the Dallas star would be eager to atone for his worst game of the year.
Dorian Finney-Smith (adductor), Maxi Kleber (hamstring), and guard Josh Green were the other Dallas players who sat out (elbow).
Two injured Blazers players are Justise Winslow (ankle) and Nassir Little (hip).
On Thursday, the Trail Blazers reported that Winslow (ankle) was making progress but would still miss the next two weeks of action.
Winslow has been out since Dec. 21 when he hurt his ankle playing against the Thunder. It’s highly unlikely that he’ll be back in the lineup before late January or early February.
