This game’s injury report: Zion Williamson (Illness) is in doubt. Dyson Daniels (Illness) and Trey Murphy III (Illness) have been ruled out. Herbert Jones (Illness) and Brando Ingram (Toe) are both out.
Brandon Ingram has been out since November 25 due to a left toe sprain. It’s unclear when he’ll be able to play again, but his next opportunity will come against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
HC of the Pelicans Zion Williamson (conditioning) practiced Tuesday and will be listed as probable for Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves, according to Willie Green.
Williamson missed back-to-back games due to health and safety protocols, and he was ruled out for a third straight game due to conditioning reasons on Monday. However, after practicing on Tuesday, the superstar forward appears to be on track to play on Wednesday.
The Timberwolves are coming off a 113-110 defeat to the Miami Heat. They struggled on defense, as they were unable to get enough stops to win that game. If they want to challenge the Pelicans on the road, they will have to apply more pressure in this one.
Kyle Anderson is listed as doubtful. Jordan McLaughlin (Shoulder), Taurean Prince (Calf), and Karl Anthony-Towns (Calf) are all out.
