Deandre Ayton (ankle) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Clippers.
Ayton was injured in Tuesday’s loss to Houston and did not practice on Wednesday. If Ayton’s ankle injury does not improve by Thursday’s game against the Clippers, he will almost certainly miss the game. If that’s the case, Jock Landale or Dario Saric are candidates to garner the start.
Cameron Payne (foot) will miss the Clippers game on Thursday.
Payne will miss practice on Thursday after missing it on Wednesday due to a right foot sprain sustained in Tuesday’s game against the Rockets. Damien Lee and Landry Shamet should see increased playing time in his absence. Payne’s next appearance will be against New Orleans on Saturday.
