The Bucks will look to build on their win over the Warriors when they travel to Memphis on Thursday night. The Bucks have won eight of their last ten games, while the Grizzlies have won six straight.
Ja Morant and Jrue Holiday’ injury status has been updated
The Bucks started the season with the best record in the NBA, winning nine straight games. Following that, the Bucks suffered their only setback, losing five of their next eight games.
Jrue Holiday (illness) will not face the Grizzlies.
The point guard will miss his second straight game due to illness. That should inspire Jevon Carter to give it another shot.
MarJon Beauchamp is expected to play against the Grizzlies on Thursday despite a nasal fracture.
Since Khris Middleton’s return from a wrist injury, Beauchamp’s playing time has decreased significantly. If he’s healthy, the rookie forward will most likely play only five minutes on Thursday, as he hasn’t played more than five minutes in any of his last four Bucks appearances.

The Grizzlies have had a strong start to the season as well, making this a genuine NBA Finals matchup. The Grizzlies won nine of their first thirteen games before losing four of their next five. They’ve been on a tear since then, winning eight of their last nine games.
Steven Adams (ankle) was not listed as out for the game on Thursday.
Adams will return to the lineup on Thursday after missing one game due to soreness in his right ankle. The 29-year-old center is expected to start against the Bucks in place of Brandon Clarke. Adams has a career-high 10.5 rebounds through the first 24 games of the season.
Ja Morant (thigh) participated fully in Wednesday’s practice session, according to Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal.
Morant missed Monday’s game against Atlanta due to a thigh injury, but he’ll be back Thursday after a one-game absence. In his last three games, he’s had a double-double, averaging 24.7 points, 11.0 assists, and 8.0 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game.
